A&H Terms and Conditions.


A) Returns: All returns to A&H must be approved by our sales department. All returns not our error will be assessed a minimum of a 15% re-stocking fee and must be returned freight prepaid at the purchasers expense. All returns must come to us in new condition and in the original packaging. Returns not authorized will not be issued credit nor will A&H accept the merchandise. No returns will be accepted after 60 days. Unfortunately, Some Vendors have large re-stocking fees. We will infom you, if necessary, of the percent fee applied.  It takes 7 to 10 business days for credit to be issued to your card from the day of receipt of returned merchandise or date of cancellation.Certain hardware products, such as Schaub are non-returnable after 30 days!

B) Shipping: A&H will ship either UPS or USPS Priority whichever mode of transportation A&H deems suitable. Other requests to ship merchandise VIA other carriers made by any buyer may constitute additional shipping charges.Those shipping charges will be added to the credit card and A&H will e-mail said buyer of the charges. If you do not "update shipping" when placing your order and are only charged $2.50 for shipping A&H will charge the balance to your card when your order ships plus a $5 processing fee. Also we only ship under our shipping terms so if you have a UPS or Fed-ex account...cool...good for you but don't argue with our guy's why we can't ship under your account....you will not win!

C) Backorders: At times A&H will incur backorders due to factory delays, shortages or other unforeseeable conditions. A&H will notify the buyer of such situations VIA E-mail to keep you informed. If a customer requests a split shipment ie "ship what you have now and ship the rest later", additional shipping charges will apply for the later shipment or shipments.

D) Damaged Goods: Damaged goods received by the purchaser must have a claim filed by the Purchaser towards the freight carrier. All goods leave A&H in perfect condition and the U.S. Department of transportation has rules and regulations specifically designed to insure you as the receiver of products, specific remedies on damaged goods. Again....A&H does not deal in "seconds" or used items. If you even see a "hint" of damage on a package... inspect it and note it to the UPS person or the postal carrier.

E) Appreciation: As the CEO of A&H I want to assure all shoppers that A&H is a service based company committed to providing the best products at the best prices. Thanks to all my customers for your loyal patronage. Dave Anderson. President, CEO.

F) Canada: Canadian Shipments will have a freight ajustment at the time of shipping. Our website does not calculate customs or additional expenses incurred when shipping into Canada. We obtain all expenses incurred and add them to your invoice at the time of shipping. A&H strives to get the best rates and pass them along to our Canadian Neighbors!

G) Special Orders: Special Orders returned will be accessed a restocking fee of 25% to 50% depending on the Vendor (because we in turn have to send them back to the Mfg' and we as well get charged a restocking fee. Also...when an Item(s) has to be special ordered....we are at the mercy of the Mfg'r. So don't be supprised if you have to wait up to two weeks (or longer) to receive an item.  

H) Security in Transactions: A&H Uses Gateway Transaction for our credit card transactions.We have never experienced a fraud nor do we anticipate a problem.Gateway Transaction is the most secure site in the World so rest assured you will not experience any problems using you credit card with our company.

I) Disputed Charge Error: For some reason people forget who they buy products from.I know our name is weird for a wholesale hardware supplier but remember we sell irrigation products for the lawn,that is where the TURF part of our name comes from.The specialties part of our name is all the other products we offer.If you forget that you bought a product from us or do not remember doing so, and then dispute the purchase it costs A&H $35.00 from the credit card company.When we reaffirm that you did in fact buy from us you will be responsible for the $35.00 charge and it will be billed to your card,so please remember your purchases!!! If you are not sure ,just give us a call and we will check our database and gladly take care of your problem or concerns.AGAIN a DISPUTED CHARGE can be COSTLY TO YOU!!!

J. Finishes:  We represent a lot of manufactures who each set the finish description of their product. For example Oil Rubbed Bronze by Amerock will not exactally match Period Brass, Schlage or moen to mention a few. We try our best to represent the products we sell by putting the best photo's that are available from our manufactures on our site. Just as there are a lot of different colors of red cars on the road...each manufacture has a different color of oil rubbed bronze or pewter.    

K. To Updrade shipping: After you place your order E-mail cusomer service with your request to upgrade shipping as this means that you are willing to accure the additional cost.  Note: This does not mean your order will leave that day but we will try and process your order quickly but orders are processed in the order they are recieved.  

l)  Order placing:  Read this...its good stuff!!  It's what you call...the "small Print".    Online orders are processed as soon as you hit enter, even if it ends up being a backorder. If you place your order online and the billing information does not match, (for example...) the funds may have been authorized by your bank and put on hold until the information gets updated.  Even though the funds have not been transferred, the bank has put them on hold in anticipation of the sale being finalized and it can take a few days for the bank to release those funds.  We cannot do anything to release these funds any quicker as they were never released to us.
